Dark Crystal fan boy art
Recently I heard news that the Dark Crystal sequel movie had been canceled , pretty sad. The original film was one of the master pieces in my childhood that inspired me to do what I do. Brian Froud's designs were translated beautifully on screen. In light of all the generic stuff we get today in films and game. The designs of the "Dark Crystal" still stand up. It's so unique and timeless. I was feeling a bit nostalgic and decided to do a quick little painting. These aren't the exact designs, but filtered through my eyes. I thought a warrior Podling would be fun to explore. I hope the sequel is revived at some point.

New stuff
It's been awhile since I posted something or updated my blog/site. I'm hoping to do more originals in time, but for now here some pieces. The first is a test render of a character I designed, 3d sculpted and textured. Below that are some mobile card-game illustrations. I try to keep things fun and change up my style for different projects.

I will be Artist guest of honor at RADCON FEB 15-17 2013
Hi all,
After a long hiatus from attending sci-fi and fantasy conventions the nice people of RADCON in Pasco Washington have invited me to be Artist Guest of Honor. I will be giving a presentation of my art and also a demo and participating in a few panels. If your in the area you should come out and say "hi". The theme this year at RADCON is "Sci-fi vs Fantasy", so here's the art I did for their program-book.
